The heart of our company has always been ministry – people not paperwork.
In 1995 a couple of guys got together to figure out how to make Church Software that is user friendly and helpful. The focus was to develop a platform that kept ministry as the top priority.
The first product created in 1995 was Youth Assistant – a revolutionary software program designed specifically for youth ministry. Not long after the Youth Assistant was introduced, TCS realized that God had given them the direction to create a tool that was a true blessing to ministers.
In 1999 Attenda Plus was offered as an add-on to Youth Assistant. TCS was the first church software company to offer an attendance package that included bar-code capabilities, ID badges, mail merge, and simple, but powerful search features.
In 2000 TCS developed a software package for whole church – Nspire. This program allowed Church leaders to manage the entire church membership base just as easily as the Youth Pastors managed their teens.
In 2006 after much thought and many requests Nspire CMMS was developed. This product was for the administrators of the church. Nspire CMS managed four individual ministries with attendance, kept track of contributions, and sent financial information to the accounting software being used.
In 2007, Nspire CMMS was morphed into Nspire the Works. The addition of the dashboard, widgets, and a new streamlined interface made this release the best yet from Nspire. Nspire 2007 started the process of reimagining what church software should be like and plans on continuing that process for many years to come.
Today Nspire 2007 is here and it is better than ever. We have heard, and listened, to our churches and continue to make changes to our software that make it even more user friendly. It has a great new look, an easy to read dashboard system, and a face book which allows a user to show rotating pictures of their members.
Nspire 2007 has made church software easy again…
